Payment process on Remita

Further to the Presidential directives on the implementation of the Treasury Single Account (TSA), please find below the channels through which Companies/Organisations can make payments for Sales Promotion Monitoring Fees and other services offered by the Council.
  1. Companies/Organisations can make payments at any branch of any Bank nationwide by requesting the Teller in the Bank that they want to pay for any service through the REMITA Platform (Each bank has this platform)
  2. Pay with Debit/Credit Cards (Mastercard, Verve, Visa)
  3. Pay from the Company’s internet banking site
  4. Pay from Digital Wallet/Mobile Money
  5. Pay using the REMITA Profile (For registered REMITA users)
  6. Pay from the REMITA website (
Paying from the REMITA Website
  1. Go to the REMITA website at
  2. Click “Pay a Federal Government Agency”
  3. Enter “Consumer Protection Council” as Name of MDA/Agency
  4. Enter “Consumer Protection Council Fees” as Name of Service/Purpose
  5. The GIFMIS Code is next to CPC’s name
  6. The amount should be entered
  7. The description of the service – Sales Promotion Monitoring Fees/Sale of Tender Documents/Registration of NGO etc. etc.
  8. Submit to generate a REMITA RETRIEVAL REFERENCE (RRR)- a unique payment reference for the transaction.
  9. This (RRR) should be used to make payment in any of the channels including the bank.
  10. The receipts issued/obtained after payment will be sent/presented to the Council
